Concluding remarks
With this article now nine of the ten invited
accession candidates have been outlined in their economic structures
(former articles are in the 06-03 and 07-03 issues).
Cyprus is the one country dismissed: as long as there is no solution
for the divided island, it cannot become an EU-member as one state.
The presented sketch cannot and should not be
anything but an approximation as has been mentioned earlier; the
characteristic lines serve the sole purpose to enable a fundamental
classification. Without consideration is necessarily left the
process that lead to the sketches: e.g. there is a difference
in seeing the relatively high orientation towards services in
Eastern Europe as negative of a vanished industry or as an image
of a trade nation.
